Crystal and Kellie arrived at the mall, and the tension between them seemed to be completely gone, they both had smiles on their faces, with the intention of shopping till they couldn’t walk anymore. They were at one of the biggest malls in the state, where Kellie came often but it was the first time Crystal had been there. This was Kellie’s favorite place to go when she wanted to relax, she figured bringing Crystal here would help their relationship, seeing that there wasn’t another mall as big for almost one hundred miles. Hopefully, she will enjoy herself, then maybe she wouldn’t be so hostile towards her all the time, and they could finally all get along. At first, Kellie’s plan seemed to be working, but it seemed to be working very slowly.
“So Kellie what do you do when not keeping tabs on my husband.” Asked Crystal with a slightly sarcastic attitude, which Kellie did her best to ignore and move on to answering her question. “Well I don’t get all that much time off from work, but when I do I do like to go out, I come here most of the time. I shop, watch a movie, and relax for the whole day sometimes.”
Kellie stopped talking and pulled Crystal into a store. “This is my favorite store to come to. Whenever I am here I have to come in here even if I don’t go to any other store. They sell anything and everything a lady could want to buy, its awesome in here.” Said Kellie excited with a big smile on her face. Crystal looked around the store, and she was right, the store was huge, and it had everything. The walls were filled with cloths of all types and styles, the tables had every kind of makeup and perfume you could think of, and the glass cases in the middle of the store carried the most beautiful jewelry she had ever seen in her life.
As Crystal looked around the store lost in where to start a salesman walked up to them, with a smile and bowed slightly, something that caught Crystal a bit off guard. “Hello Miss Kellie how are you doing today, I see you’re with a friend today. Are you going to introduce me to her?” He said as he turned to Crystal taking her hand and kissing it softly before he let go. “Of course I am, John. This is Crystal, she is Will’s’ new wife. They just got back from their honeymoon today, and I thought I would bring her here to get her a proper wedding gift.” Kellie answered as John smiled. “Well then, you brought her to the right place…” Said John as he walked around Crystal looking her over from top to bottom.
“I Hope your ready Crystal because this guy is like magic, he always knows just what I need to make my day. This is how I stay so happy even with keeping track of your husband and him forgetting things and making so many people angry at work.” John looked at them smiling. “Oh stop I’m not magic, but I do know exactly what will make your day today, follow me ladies.” John said walking towards the back of the store, as they followed John, Crystal wondered what they were going to get. Looking around at everything the store carried as she walked surprised her, and the share size of the place was stunning.
“Kellie I don’t see that many people that work here, are they all helping people like he is helping us or are we special.” Crystal said looking back at Kellie. Kellie Smiled it seemed as though her plan was starting to work. “No, your right we are special, our company has an account here we get everything we need for the models that do the book covers here, we also take the cover shots for all the authors that we publish here. That and we featured them in a lot of the work we do. So every time I come in here, they are always happy to see me, that and I do shop a lot.” Replied Kellie, as she walked behind curtains that blocked off the back of the store.
“Oh, I did forget to tell you this place has the best spa in the state.” Kellie said with a smile as Crystal looked around the back of the store, then back at her with a smile. Kellie’s plan had worked, the tension between the two was all gone. “Well are you just going to stand there looking around, I thought you two wanted to relax?” The voice of John said as he walked up with two robes. “No we aren’t just going to stand here, we are going to have fun right Crystal?” Kellie said taking the robes from John and pulling crystal off to the dressing room. “You know Kellie, I’m kind of jealous of how much time you get to spend with Will, I mean he is my husband now, but you know where he is more than I do. I’m not upset with you or anything I just want to know how you do it, and I want him home more often.” Crystal said to Kellie while they changed.
“Well Will is not the kind of person you can control, he is a workaholic a lot of times. However, he is a simple person, he always follows his patterns, that and his phone updates where he is every time he stays in one place for more than five minutes. He is also horrible with directions meaning his GPS is always on, which you should know by now. That’s how I can keep up with him leaving all the time. That and his personal email and calendar accounts are synced to mine so I can make sure he doesn’t ignore important emails or miss meetings.” Said Kellie, which didn’t really go well for keeping things good between the two but she managed to save herself. “Don’t worry I’ll show you how to sync your stuff too. After we leave here that is. For now, let’s just enjoy the rest of the day and get you ready for your date tonight.” She said smiling.
