It began to spin so that the symbols could be seen from every direction. “24 sorry if I forgot but doesn’t that say; we take the knowledge of the universe for our own.“ Ten Thousand words made my heart stop, it was my people’s langue and that’s why it wasn’t in the database I was the last of my people and I saw no point in putting the langue in it no one spoke anymore. “Yes it does but this is impossible my people died so long ago and if they were alive I would be able to feel them no matter where they were, I would have known about them.” I replayed to him in confusion, as I stood to my feet. “I need to see it up close you have to take me to it now.” I said not taking my eyes of the monitor even for a second.
Ten Thousand stood to his feet and looked over at me waiting for the location we would be going. “17,5,10,4,221 is the location now hurry.” I said to him eager to get my hands on the item. He open the rift and we stepped threw it and right there in front of me was something I hadn’t seen in so long I almost forgot they were real at one point. It was a storage pod my people built to store knowledge I didn’t see how it could be used as a weapon, especially a weapon that would hurt us it just didn’t make any sense at all, I thought to myself as I reached for the sphere. “Are you sure you should do that brother I mean you don’t know what this thing is do you.” Ten Thousand said to me causing my hand to stop inches away from the sphere. “It’s a memory pod or that’s what I use to call them when my people were still around. It can’t hurt anyone it just stores data.” I said then picked up the pod.
I ran my finger around the center of the sphere all the way around it, then set it down on the ground and stepped back a bit. “I believe this is the last model that I created when my race was still around but that doesn’t make sense it should have stopped function millennia ago, but yet it’s like it was only built a few years ago. This is impossible something is wrong here.” I said to my brother as the sphere activated and projected a hologram.
“First of I told you so and second is it so post to do that.” Said Ten Thousand as he looked closely at the hologram that it was projecting. I stood speechless as the figure cleared up; it was me, well me when I created the new version of the pods it was a signature on what I viewed as my greatest work at the time. Well not just at the time it was still one of my greatest works, it was the first thing I made that uses the Nannies, or well a much less advanced version of them… “Crap! Get us out of here now brother.” I yelled out as I realized something I was hoping not to be true.
