“Hey I wasn’t done yet you know I still wanted to stretch at little more. “ He said to me as his copies vanished from the skies. “Yeah well I didn’t feel like waiting anymore I’ve had it with talking right now. If they want to see real power to give them a reason to be afraid then its time they saw what we can really do.” I said as I turned to find a chair to sit in and watch the skies burn. “Yeah you talk about me being hot headed but look at you at least I was giving them a chance to win the fight though it was small. But you just turn all the weapons back on them.” Ten Thousand replayed as he sat down in the chair next to me. “Well I told you before I don’t like weapons and fighting; but if they want to try and use their toys I’ll just give them back to them it’s not my fault they launched them in the first place.” I replayed as the explosions began to die out.
“Ok well the fun is over and its time we get to business, we aren’t here to start a war with you. As you can see, we are much more powerful than you are. So I think it would be to your best interest to just give up now while you’re ahead and no one has been hurt on either side.” I said broadcasting to the leaders of the planet hoping that they would take the hint that we were holding back, just give in, and come to the table so to speak, in a civilized manner. However, I was entirely too hopeful I realized as they sent out their response.
“We heard of you a while ago many years back we received a message from nowhere telling us about you. Beings of great power that would seem to be unbeatable, and everything we had would simply be thrown back at us no matter how powerful we thought it was and how effective it was on other things it would be useless on you. At first we didn’t believe anything but then they message said we wouldn’t have to believe them just accept a box from them and when you came all we had to do was open it and we would have the upper hand.” Their replay was almost treating to us but we didn’t see the point in getting worked up after all no one had ever come even a little close to beating us in eons.
The monitor in front of us turned on and displayed a box it didn’t look like much and it had no markings just a small latch on the side. The hatch was flipped and the box opened, a white glowing sphere slowly floated up from the box. Then it stopped glowing, it looked so familiar but at the same time, it was like seeing it for the first time, which in itself was odd. Symbols appeared on the surface of the sphere the outline of each one glowing before it changed to a different one. They were ten different symbols and then it went back to the first repeating in the same order like a message. I accessed ever databases I had but none of the symbols matched anything I had seen before but yet I felt like I knew what it was. As if I just had to pay, a little more attention and I would be able to read it.
