B ut they caught on and surrounded me, it seemed as though they found the weakness of my little tool. I backed up slowly to the center of the circle I made earlier as they packed themselves into a 100-foot circle around the center circle, they had found the limit to my trick, or so they thought. The leader looked as though it almost was almost smiling. It stood in front of me as I looked at it chills running down my back; it raised its huge claws high in the air. A smile came across my face as its hand dropped. “Wonder!”
I jumped from the ground back where the desert started the first place I had placed the objects, none of the creatures were this far back, they had fell into my trap so easily. I placed my hand on the ground “Ultimate trap wondering earth maze activate!” My voice echoed and as it did hundreds of explosions went off. “Got you, nothings getting out of that any time soon.” I turned and heading back to the lunch zone, looking back to see the smoke settle and my earth maze standing tall. There was only one way out of the trap, and that was to solve the changing maze. No matter how strong or sharp their claws were they couldn’t cut their way out. The walls were made of sand no matter what they did the walls would just absorb the attack and rebuild itself instantly. Not only that but its constantly changing maze would surely keep anyone even me from getting out. At least until the sun set and it ran out of power, most of my toys were just prototypes that my brother made and for some reason they were all solar power. I headed back to the lunch zone arriving just as the ships lunched, “Man those guys are slow.” I said as I watched the ship lunched.
I had finished the first part of the job now all that was left now was to find out what these creatures were, and destroy them. But that could wait till later the suns were still high in the sky and I needed to rest, and prepare myself for the upcoming battle.
The second sun finial began to set, I looked over the entire area and found just were I would fight the battle and prepaid myself. Sitting at the entrance to the lunch zone waiting for the creatures, my trap should be warring off in a few minutes. I turned and looked behind me and I watched the sun set.
I feel my powers awaken as my eyes went black I smiled, I was ready. I turned back as the night rushes over me, dark and cold consuming every part of me the moon light is bight but yet it was dark. The stench of blood is pungent in the air as the braze brushes across my face. I see them approaching from the distance getting closer and closer. The smell of blood is coming from their blood soaked claws. I wondered what they had killed but it didn’t matter. They soon spotted me and began to circle me, pushing me back slowly, into a corner without even knowing it they were doing just what I had planned. Their eyes glow a dark red, the chill of evil intent filled the atmosphere like static making the hair on my skin stand on end.
The light from the moon faded, all that remained was their glowing red eyes piercing through the darkness. My eyes slowly close as I awaited my faith; they lunge forward with their attack claws first ready to rip me to pieces. “Active Nannies one hundred present.”
