I took one more look behind me hoping that I was getting further away from them, but it seemed as though they were catching up and they were doing it a lot faster than I expected. I had to do something to keep from being caught, “Active Nannies now full power!” A sudden surge of energy went through my body this was it I was going to show them what I’m made of… The sudden surge of energy quickly turned against me as the energy burned my muscles. I could feel it ripping through my body then discharging out of it in extremely pain full bolts that were slowing me down instead of speeding me up. “Deactivate Nannies.” I had to turn them off before they killed me apparently I still couldn’t handle using my powers while it was still daytime, this was going to be a problem.
I was trapped running unable to use my powers to attack until the night fell, and seeing that this planet had two suns and the second was just rising, I knew this was going to be a big problem. I headed as far as I could from the lunch zone hoping that they would lunch already.
The lunch zone would be the perfect place for me to hide, but the crew was still there, and that’s where the only buildings for miles were. “I’m so not liking this.” Just as I was thinking that I caught a signal from the lunch zone, yes they were ready to lunch. The message came in slow “We are just about done with the repairs” I lit up with joy, yes. “We need another hour before we can lunch please hold them off until then.” Said the second message. “How can they be just about done and still need another hour, I hate these guys.” I said to myself as I ran.
Nevertheless, I had to do it, and do it I did, I turned a full one eighty and ran straight into the pack right at the leader, bending down and grabbed a rock from the ground as I ran towards it. I smashed it into its face, jumped onto its shoulders, and off I went. Kicking the pack members in the face as I jumped from shoulder to shoulder. That sent them into a frenzy of anger all aimed right at me. Which didn’t seem to make them less able to follow me as I tried running in zigzags, it just seemed to get them even more pissed off, “Who ever said it was a good idea to do that never ran from anything ahhhhhh!” I screamed out.
As I ran screaming and yell I couldn’t help but think this reminded me of something. It seems like this is all I do whenever I get into a fight I run for hours on end. I don’t think I have actually fought any of my enemies I’ve just run from them, it’s somewhat sad to call myself a member of the legendary Brothers Will. However, I guess all that running has paid off, because these guys don’t seem to be giving up for anything at all, or any time soon.
I knew that even with all my strength and stamina there was no way I could out run them for much longer, they were just too fast. But it didn’t matter I only needed to for about a half hour at this point but I didn’t know if I could even last that long running as fast as I could, I mean really no one has ever chased me this long.
