I came up with a plan that was sure to work all I had to do was find some place I could hide, if these creatures were hunters they would never give up just caused I hid from them, it might even make them more interested. Unfortunately for me I was running in a valley with nothing in sight, if I was going to hide I had to make my own hiding place. I had to think and think fast they were closing in on me more and more with each passing second.
The valley started changing into a desert, my feet began to get heavy as I hit the first bit of sand, then it hit me like a rock I had the perfect thing to help me. My hands went to my pockets and pulled a hand full of small dark black metal object from my pockets. “Active Nannies two present” It’s as high as I could go during the day, I squeezed my hand tight as blots of energy surged around my fist, it would be just a bit longer. I felt my feet get even heaver as the ground became all sand. It was time I turned and threw the metal objects high in the shy, then turned and kept running, reaching for another hand full, turning and throwing them after charging them. I kept throwing them all around me, as far as I could as I ran deeper into the desert.
The creatures stopped dead in their tracks as they reached the area where I threw the first set, taking a few minutes to make sure the objects weren’t deadly. That’s just what I needed; it bought me enough time to get well into the desert. I was completely surrounded by sand my plan was set. I reached into my pocket and grabbed a few more handfuls of the metal objects tossing them all around me making sure they were spread out far from each other. With the last hand full, I made a circle around my feet. I looked up and waited I might not be able to use my powers but I could use some of my tools and its time I tested the newest one my brother gave me.
The creatures approached me with great speed not caring where I had spread the metal objects, just what I wanted. “Active wondering earth!” My voice echoed out, as a smile came across my face, the creatures grew closer and closer to me readying themselves for the attack. I drop to one knee putting one hand on the ground over the circle I had made. They came into rang and lunged at me their claws first ready to rip me apart “Wonder.” As the words were spoken the earth opened I fell in and it closed.
I jumped out of the earth right behind the last member of the pack. The smile on my face was now a grin. “It worked!” Now I could have some fun, I grab one of the creatures by the leg picking it up as I jumped to my feet, I tossing it into the other pack members. “Hey what you doing running that way I thought you were coming after me!” I turned and began to run, they all followed just as I thought they would. I jumped into the air and as I fell, I spoke, “Wonder!” The ground under me swallowing me and spiting me out back where I started. “You guys are really bad at this!” I was having tons of fun popping up all around them, making sure to stay within one hundred feet from the center circle.
